The ceremony took place at the project site on PGA Boulevard to commemorate the placement of the final structural beam. Representatives from PORT 32 Marinas, Miller Construction Company, Watt, Inc. and project partners attended the event.
The event also included the signing of one of the beams by project leaders and team members. Guided tours of the site were held for attendees, along with awards presented to subcontractors in recognition of their work, with more than 150 construction workers and project personnel having contributed to the project to date.
Austin Schell, CEO of PORT 32 Marinas, said: “We are proud to celebrate reaching the topping out milestone on PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens. The topping out ceremony is a significant milestone that represents the culmination of exceptional teamwork, craftsmanship and dedication from our entire construction team, who are dedicated to this project.”

The former PGA Marina site operated along the boulevard and the Intracoastal Waterway for more than 50 years before being demolished in 2025 and renamed PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens. It is described as the only category 5 hurricane-rated facility in Palm Beach County and is designed to withstand winds of up to 180 mph.
Once complete, the marina will offer a total of 471 slips, including 451 enclosed dry storage slips for vessels up to 60ft (18 metres) in length and 20 wet slips for vessels between 50ft (15 metres) and 100ft (30 metres) in length.
The marina will also provide transient dockage, along with haul-out, launch and provisioning services, and will use 75,000-pound-capacity forklifts with elevating cabs for vessel handling operations.
The property will also include approximately 31,296sqft (2,907sqm) of commercial space for marine services, boat sales, offices, retail, storage and service units.
Brian Sudduth, president and CEO of Miller Construction Company, said: “Topping out PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens marks a key construction milestone and continued momentum toward completion. We are thrilled to partner with PORT 32 Marinas on this transformative redevelopment, representing a significant investment in the future of boating in Palm Beach Gardens and our shared commitment to delivering a world-class marina.”
