Texas-based TopSide Marinas has expanded into Michigan with the acquisition of Bay Harbor Marina. The purchase marks the company’s first location in the state and follows its November 2025 acquisition of Pikes Bay Marina in Wisconsin.

Established in 1967, Bay Harbor Marina occupies 80 acres along the Saginaw River, less than two miles (three kilometres) from Saginaw Bay and on the route to Lake Huron. The marina serves pontoons, sailboats and larger cruising vessels.
It offers 400 wet slips and 100 dry stack slips, as well as more than 500 winter storage spaces, including over 120,000 sqft (approximately 1.1 hectares) of heated indoor storage. Facilities at the site include fuel docks, a ship store, mechanical and electronic repair services, fibreglass and paint work, and haul-out services.
Ryan Skiles, regional vice president at TopSide Marinas, said: “We are excited to enter the Michigan market with our first marina, Bay Harbor, welcoming new team members to the TopSide community as well as our newest boating enthusiasts. Our newest marina provides the ideal location to serve customers passing through or for those who have a slip with us.”
TopSide Marinas stated it plans to expand the site’s service department by adding additional original equipment manufacturers, including Mercury outboards, Volvo and Kohler (Rehlko). The company also plans to update the store and increase storage availability.
