The Vidiella family is reportedly exploring the sale of Puerto Banús Marina in Marbella, Spain, as it considers bringing in an investor to support future growth. The process remains at an early stage and may involve a partial sale of the business alongside new capital to support expansion.

Puerto Banús Marina is located on the Costa del Sol and covers about 15 hectares of sheltered water. It offers 915 berths for vessels up to 50 metres in length, along with facilities including refuelling, waste collection and recycling, brokerage services and technical areas equipped with a 50-tonne travelift, a six-tonne mobile crane and boat repair services.
Around the marina, more than 250 commercial units are occupied by international brands and other businesses. In 2025, the company also introduced a port consulting service to share its experience with other marina projects in both local and international markets.
Puerto Banús was developed in the late 1960s by José Banús and opened in 1970. Over time, it has grown into a marina with a strong commercial presence, supported by its location near Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport and road connections along the coast.

According to a report by Pepe Bravo of Expansión, the family is working with EY as a financial adviser to explore options for a new partner in the company.
Puerto Banús operates under a concession that runs until 2066. The Vidiella family took control of the marina in the early 1980s, and ownership is now held by the third generation of the family. The business generates revenue from berths, commercial leasing, parking, hospitality, events and sponsorship.
