Dutch marine equipment manufacturer Roodberg has introduced a new generation of modular self-propelled trailers for use in shipyards and marinas, developed to handle vessel lifting and transport operations with configurable power and drive options.

The new generation was developed as a modular system in response to increased demand for more adaptable equipment and shorter lead times in marine facilities. It allows operators to select configurations based on site conditions and operational requirements, with options including rear-wheel drive setups and either electric or diesel power systems.
The design is intended for vessels from 20 to 60 tonnes, with larger units available on request, with similar configuration options available across the company’s wider trailer range, including both towed and self-propelled slipway systems.
