Following the success of Marina Village Phase I, which has brought increased foot traffic, thriving waterfront businesses and active public spaces, the CRA is moving forward with the second phase of the transformation. Phase II will introduce a mix of waterfront restaurants, hotel accommodation, entertainment venues, retail and office space and expanded parking infrastructure.

The development is located near regional assets, including the Port of Palm Beach, which draws approximately 500,000 cruise passengers annually, and Peanut Island, a popular boating and recreation destination. The CRA views the location as a unique investment opportunity, primed for further growth and economic impact.

Marina Village currently offers 140 floating wet slips for vessels up to 120-feet, catamaran berthing, on-site fuelling and a wide range of amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a ship’s store and on-site casual dining. The marina is a designated Florida Clean Marina and is managed by Seven Kings Holdings. With its close proximity to the Lake Worth Inlet and no fixed bridges, the marina provides convenient all-weather access for boaters.

The CRA’s long-term redevelopment strategy aims to attract new investment and generate jobs while ensuring the public waterfront remains open and accessible. Phase II is positioned as a catalyst for economic activity stretching west from the waterfront through the Broadway Corridor and into surrounding areas of Riviera Beach.

As outlined in the CRA’s 2018 project timeline, the search for a development partner involves a structured request for proposals (RFP) process, with final rankings and recommendations submitted to the CRA Board for approval. The agency emphasises collaboration with stakeholders, including local businesses and residents, to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth.
