Eight months after acquiring boatfolk in 2025, Premier Marinas has completed the first phase of its integration with Deacons Marina on the River Hamble joining the network ahead of the 2026 boating season.

Premier Marinas

Deacons is the fifth former boatfolk site to transition into the network, following Haslar in December 2025, East Cowes in February 2026, and Weymouth and Portland in March 2026.

The addition brings the total number of Premier-branded locations to 17, from Falmouth in Cornwall to Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne.

With access to cruising routes in the Solent, Deacons Marina offers 130 pontoon berths and accommodates sailing and motorboats up to 14 metres and 15 tonnes. The site also includes a boatyard, chandlery, bistro and waste and recycling facilities.

Berth holders at Deacons Marina now have access to the Premier Advantage programme, which includes complimentary visitor stays across the network and fuel rate benefits.

Andrew Lewis, sales & marketing director at Premier Marinas, said: “It is no secret, the acquisition of the boatfolk portfolio presented a huge opportunity for us to deepen our network offering. We have deliberately timed the first phase of our integration activity to ensure we were able to maximise and focus the benefits for our customers this season.”

The remaining former boatfolk sites Conwy, Penarth, Portishead, Rhu and Royal Quays are scheduled to transition in autumn as part of the final phase.

Separately, Premier Marinas acquired the Dart Marina Group in Devon last month, adding Dart Marine, Dart Marina Hotel and the Dartmouth Higher Ferry to its portfolio.
