Premier Marinas has welcomed Weymouth Marina and Portland Marina in Dorset, UK, to its network as the company continues to bring former boatfolk sites into its portfolio following its acquisition of the marina operator in September 2025.

Portland Marina

The two marinas are located along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast and expand the company’s presence on the South Coast, with new locations between Premier Marinas’ Solent marinas and those further west.

Portland Marina sits within Portland Harbour, one of the largest natural harbours in the United Kingdom. The marina includes a boatyard equipped with a 50-tonne travel lift. Facilities at the site include pump-out services, rigging, maintenance and repair, a fuel pontoon, dry stack storage, restaurants and parking.

Weymouth Marina is located within the harbour of the seaside town and provides berthing in a protected setting close to shops, restaurants and other local amenities. Facilities at the marina include laundry services, waste and recycling points, dry berths and storage for rigid inflatable boats, as well as parking.

The addition of the two Dorset marinas follows other changes within the Premier Marinas network after the acquisition of boatfolk. In December 2025, Haslar Marina in Gosport became the first former boatfolk site to be rebranded under Premier Marinas.

East Cowes Marina on the Isle of Wight was later added to the network in February 2026 as another site from the same portfolio.
