East Cowes Marina on the Isle of Wight has been added to the Premier Marinas network following the acquisition of the boatfolk portfolio in September 2025. The change gives berth holders access to wider south coast locations ahead of the 2026 boating season.

The marina is located on the east bank of the River Medina, within walking distance of Cowes and close to Osborne House. It provides berths for more than 300 vessels with capacity for lengths up to 30 metres and a draft of up to three metres.
Facilities at East Cowes Marina include pontoons with power and water, parking, showers and toilets, laundry services, waste and recycling facilities, and a waterside bar and restaurant. The marina is also close to local shops and transport links.
As part of the Premier Marinas network, berth holders at East Cowes will have access to the Premier Advantage scheme, including visitor nights across the network and discounted fuel, along with the MyPremier app and online portal.
The addition of East Cowes follows the rebranding of Haslar Marina in Gosport in December 2025. Haslar was the first former boatfolk site to complete the transition after acquisition.
“We’ve seen at Haslar how quickly customers begin to feel the difference when a marina becomes part of a connected network, and that experience has shaped how we’re approaching East Cowes. We’re focused on smooth delivery, clear communication and putting berth holders first at every stage,” said Andrew Lewis, sales & marketing director at Premier Marinas.
Other former boatfolk marinas, including Weymouth, Portland and Deacons, are expected to complete their transition into the Premier Marinas network ahead of the 2026 season.
“The team are excited to be joining the Premier Marinas network and to welcome our berth holders into what is a much bigger boating community. This rebrand isn’t about changing what people value about East Cowes, it’s about enhancing it. The marina remains a cherished local asset, and the team is ready to welcome the boating community for Cowes Week and the Round the Island Race in the same way we’ve always done,” said Mike Townshend, marina manager at East Cowes Marina.
