Cap Sante Marina, located in Fidalgo Bay near Cap Sante Head, is included in the port’s 2026 capital improvement plan. The marina currently offers guest slips, permanent and liveaboard moorage, a fuel dock, a trailer boat launch and a small boat hoist.

Planned projects at the marina include:

  • Design and bidding for T-Dock reconstruction
  • Pre-construction and construction for electrification at T Dock and A Dock
  • Installation of fibre-optic connections between Docks MNO and PQ
  • Redevelopment of the North and West Basin, including phases 2, 3 and 4

Other 2026 projects include runway lighting improvements at the airport, design of the Cap Sante event facility, commercial development planning, warehouse repairs and replacement of port equipment.

Port Director of Finance and Administration Jill Brownfield said: “With a strong cash position and low debt levels, the 2026 budget focuses on preserving and improving infrastructure and advancing projects that support a diverse economy.”

The budget includes more than $21 million USD in projected operating revenues and over $18 million in operating expenses. Planned capital spending totals $13.03 million, combining port funds with grant contributions. These funds are allocated across the airport, marina, marine terminal, industrial properties and equipment.
