Parkstone Bay Marina on the South Coast continues to invest in modern infrastructure with sustainability at its core. The marina has recently completed a £150,000 upgrade of its berth holder washrooms to upgrade its offering in terms of comfort, design and environmental responsibility.

Parkstone Bay remains the only marina on the South Coast to operate a dry berthing system in which all boats are kept on bespoke trailers at ground level. The offer allows flexible launching and year-round access while vessels remain protected and out of the water when not in use. The service accommodates boats up to 15 metres in length. Unlimited launches, 24-hour CCTV, car parking and on-site fuelling are among the additional amenities.

The marina also offers up to 50 wet berths suitable for vessels up to 17-metres, all with electricity and fresh water access. Pontoon dock options provide out-of-water storage for RIBs and smaller powerboats, which combines vessel protection with convenient access.

Complementing the facilities is the marina’s newly upgraded washroom block, designed to enhance user comfort while meeting environmental targets. The refurbishment introduces climate-controlled air source heating with heat recovery for low-carbon efficiency, a solar panel to reduce energy use and contemporary design. Berth holders benefit from private cubicles, a family shower room, ambient music and complimentary toiletries.

General Manager Henry Cobley AMM praised the project’s execution: “Our in-house team, supported by talented local professionals, has brought this vision to life. The result is a facility that reflects both the quality and values of Parkstone Bay Marina.”

The project was delivered with support from Commercial Washrooms, who provided design and specification services. Sales Director Alex Carnegie noted, “The specification was tailored to align with the marina’s sustainability goals and deliver a premium experience for users.”
