The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed an agreement with the Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group) on 26 March to develop a 150 million Omani rial (approximately $390 million USD) tourism complex in Al Bustan, Muscat, as part of efforts to expand the country’s tourism infrastructure.

The destination is expected to be operated by global hospitality brand Four Seasons and will include a 200-room hotel, 91 freehold residential units, a marina, a yacht club, restaurants, retail outlets and supporting service infrastructure.
The project will span 13.8 hectares and is scheduled for completion within four years.

Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, minister of heritage and tourism, and Eng. Ayad Ali Al Balushi, CEO of Omran Group, signed the agreement.
Officials highlighted the project’s location in central Muscat as a factor in supporting tourism growth across the governorate. They added that the development aligns with Oman Vision 2040, the national framework for economic and social planning that guides sector strategies and development plans.
