Marina Shores at Dune Harbor in Portage, Indiana, has been acquired by investors Peter and Erin Meiusi through a transaction brokered by National Marina Sales.

Located on the southern shoreline of Lake Michigan, the marina offers a sheltered harbour near Indiana Dunes National Park, with connections to major expressways and the South Shore rail line. It provides more than 265 boat slips for vessels over 50ft (15 metres), as well as 57 jet ski slips.
The site includes floating docks, fuel services, a pump-out station and a harbour master’s office. On-site amenities include a yacht club, swimming pool, fitness centre, and food and drink outlets.
Peter and Erin Meiusi also operate other marina properties, including Clinton Marina in Lawrence, Kansas, which they acquired in 2020, followed by Marina Del Sur and the Dam Site facilities in New Mexico in 2024.
Following the acquisition, the marina is expected to continue operating under its current setup, with the new owners planning to maintain the site and introduce updates to facilities and services over time.
In a short announcement on the marina’s page, it said: “As a family-owned and operated team, our vision is simple: honour the things that already make this place special while building a community that boaters are proud to call home.”
Rick Roughen, owner of National Marina Sales, said: “This sale highlights the ongoing strength of the marina market and the appeal of well-positioned waterfront assets. We are proud to have facilitated this transaction and look forward to seeing Marina Shores thrive under its new ownership.”
