Work on the main dock at Marina Port Valencia is moving ahead as the marina advances a broader redevelopment aimed at increasing capacity and improving on-site services for larger vessels.

Details of the progress were shared in a recent LinkedIn post by Andrea Mallavia, commercial executive at the marina, who described the pace of work on the ground.
She said: “There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing a massive engineering project finally take shape.”
Current work includes preparing berths for vessels of up to 80 metres, alongside the installation of new shore power systems to support higher energy demand. Systems for bilge and black water are also being added, while visible progress continues across the dock with new decking being laid and the main building now taking shape on site.

Currently, the marina operates across three areas: Marina Norte, Marina Sur and Marina City. The wider redevelopment will extend the marina’s capacity to accommodate larger vessels. Plans also include a dry storage and a technical shipyard covering around eight hectares for maintenance and refit work.
Mallavia added: “Seeing the precision the team is putting into every connection and every square metre makes me confident: we are right on track to be fully operational soon.”
