Marina Port Valencia has started the first phase of its redevelopment to modernise the city’s waterfront and strengthen its connection with Valencia’s urban life. Works began in September 2025 and aim to update facilities for both visitors and the local community.

The project, presented at the Monaco Yacht Show from 24-27 September, introduces a four-in-one marina concept with berths for yachts from six to 130 metres. The plan seeks to link the marina with the city and improve its position within international yachting networks. Further updates are expected at the Barcelona International Boat Show from 8-12 October.
The redevelopment includes four marina areas designed for different types of vessels. Marina City, located in the centre of Valencia, will feature 371 berths for vessels up to 130 metres in length. Marina Norte will offer 74 berths for vessels up to 115 metres, positioned near restaurants and waterfront amenities.
Marina Sur will provide 412 berths for vessels up to 60 metres, close to workshops and service facilities. The dry dock will add 228 berths for smaller vessels, offering an option for long-term stays and maintenance.

The site will also gain landscaped areas, running paths, bike lanes and terraces designed to connect the port with surrounding neighbourhoods. A new refit and repair yard, modelled after STP Shipyard Palma, will handle vessels up to 130 metres and be equipped with travel lifts of 750 tonnes to support maintenance and technical operations in the city.
Plans also include new dining and leisure spaces, as well as partnerships with local organisations in sport, culture and the environment. The marina will collaborate with sailing, rowing, kayaking and diving federations to support water-based activities and public engagement.
