Easily accessible via a three-kilometre entrance canal, Messolonghi Marina provides a sheltered basin and a range of amenities. The marina is set against a protected lagoon and nature reserve, offering a secure environment for mooring vessels up to 35 metres in length.

Ongoing upgrades include increased land storage space, the installation of new quay walls and a planned expansion of wet berths. The marina is equipped with modern facilities such as clean shower and restroom blocks, firefighting equipment, security cameras and power and water connections at every berth.

Messolonghi Marina offers in-house services for minor vessel maintenance, such as antifouling, cleaning and sanding. A 20 tonnes hydraulic trailer is currently in use for launching and lifting, with 60 tonnes now in operation to accommodate larger vessels and catamarans. A new slipway is under construction and will increase operational capacity once completed.

Phase 2.1 of the expansion, completed in October 2024, included large-scale marina maintenance and the construction of a new entrance building. Additional projects for Phases 2.2 and 2.3 are underway, including land expansion for storage, new quay wall construction, floating pontoons and the slipway build.

The marina features a growing range of leisure and support services. A café and restaurant, boat chandlery and rental options for cars, scooters and bicycles provide access to the nearby town of Messolonghi. Additional infrastructure is part of the marina’s final development stages slated through the end of 2025.

With recycling stations, certified sewage disposal and plans for eco-friendly services, Messolonghi Marina prioritises environmental responsibility alongside guest comfort. The phased development strategy, under international management, is designed to enhance its position as a key marina in western Greece and a gateway to the surrounding cruising grounds.
