Cap d'Ail Marina on France’s southeastern coast is seeking a new operator under a public service concession launched by the Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur, which includes the port’s rehabilitation.
Under the tender, the selected concessionaire will manage and operate the public port, and will also design, build and finance its rehabilitation works, which are expected to require an investment of around €35 million ($40 million USD). The overall concession contract has an estimated value of €170 million (approximately $194 million), excluding VAT.
Cap d'Ail Marina has 260 berths, including 200 in a private area and 60 for public use. Vessels under 18 metres are accommodated on floating pontoons, while vessels over 18 metres berth along the quays. The marina also has a shipyard equipped with a 75-tonne travel lift, a public slipway, a refuelling station, and water and electricity supply points.
Currently managed by Société du Port de Plaisance de Cap d'Ail, the marina’s existing concession expires on 31 December 2027. Applications for the new concession are due by 28 October 2026.
