Manitowoc Marina on Lake Michigan’s western shoreline has been upgraded with a new dock system designed to better serve its growing boating community. The system features expanded slip sizes and full ADA accessibility, aligning with the marina’s long-term commitment to inclusivity and regional tourism.

While the new dock system brings better accessibility and slip capacity, Manitowoc Marina also continues to offer a wide array of existing services and facilities. The marina offers indoor and outdoor storage options in three climate-controlled buildings, 50 tonne and 70 tonne marine travel lifts and a six-metre (20-foot) draft capacity. The marina accommodates slip sizes from six-metre (20-foot) to 18-metre (60-foot) and provides year-round support for both recreational and long-distance boaters.
Manitowoc Marina is known for its skilled technicians who handle a full spectrum of services, from fibreglass and aluminium repairs to custom refits and insurance restoration. The on-site ship’s store and parts department ensure quick access to essential equipment and expert guidance.

To celebrate the marina’s upgrade, The Chamber of Manitowoc County has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, 9 May at 11:00 at the marina.
Located within a day’s delivery from Lake Michigan ports, the marina remains a trusted facility for seasonal storage, marine repair and lakeside recreation. The dock upgrade further strengthens Manitowoc Marina’s role as a destination for boaters across the region.
