Legacy Harbour Marina in Fort Myers, Florida, is expected to reopen in May 2026 after a redevelopment following the damage caused by Hurricane Ian in 2022.

Located along the Caloosahatchee River near downtown Fort Myers, the marina has served boaters travelling along Florida’s west coast and through the Okeechobee Waterway. It provides direct boating access to the Gulf of Mexico and sits within walking distance of Fort Myers’ River District.

Legacy Harbour Marina covers about 13 acres along the Caloosahatchee River, including eight acres of submerged land and roughly 4.6 acres of upland area. The property is leased through the City of Fort Myers and will operate as a slip-leasing marina.

Hurricane Ian made landfall in southwest Florida in September 2022 as a Category 4 storm and brought strong winds and storm surge across the region. Construction on the redevelopment began in early 2025, with AIRN Management LLC rebuilding the site and Bellingham Marine supplying the dock structures.

The marina will provide 131 slips designed for vessels measuring from 40-150ft (12-46 metres). Each slip will include potable water connections, pump-out systems, fire suppression equipment, fibreglass dock boxes and both single-phase and three-phase electrical supply.

New docks and updated marina facilities are being installed as part of the redevelopment, including a Unifloat concrete wave attenuation system supported by 70ft (21-metre) steel piles and an aluminium frame dock system.
