Lake Blue Ridge Marina, Inc. is seeking an updated commercial recreation license agreement and a permit for an expansion at Blue Ridge Reservoir in Fannin County, Georgia. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is reviewing the request, which would allow the marina to increase its harbour area and add facilities to support floating cabins.

Lake Blue Ridge Marina offers uncovered and covered slips, as well as 23ft (seven metres) pontoons. Alongside its boating facilities, the site has kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals, fuel and lake supplies, The Boat Dock Bar & Grill and a watercraft showroom.
The proposed expansion would be located on the left bank of the Blue Ridge Reservoir along the Toccoa River, which continues northwest into Tennessee. The request would expand the marina’s harbour limits by 5.4 acres to a total of 29.2 acres and add six facilities. It would also allow additional marina infrastructure, including slips and wastewater services to support floating cabins.
TVA had invited public comments on the request, asking for information on possible effects on the environment and historic properties, as well as other issues related to the proposal. No update on the request has been announced yet.
