Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina in Saudi Arabia has gained Five Gold Anchor status from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) at its first assessment under the programme following an independent review of its operations, customer service, safety and environmental standards.

Set on Jeddah’s Red Sea shoreline, the marina is close to Al Rahma Mosque and the Jeddah Corniche Formula One circuit, with King Abdulaziz International Airport about 15 minutes away.
The marina offers 94 berths and can accommodate superyachts up to 120 metres in length, while the yacht club includes lounge bars, boardrooms, a beach club, a gym and an outdoor terrace used for private and business events.
In a social media post, Oriel Blake, marine operations director at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, said: “Achieving Five Gold Anchors at first assessment is the highest level within the programme and reflects the dedication, professionalism and consistency delivered across every part of the marina experience.”

The Gold Anchor programme is jointly administered by TYHA and the Marina Industries Association across the world. The scheme has been assessing marinas for more than 25 years, with facilities able to enter through self-assessment or opt for an independent review by an external assessor.
Blake also said that the achievement belongs to the marina team and described it as “a proud milestone for Jeddah and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reinforcing the Red Sea’s growing position on the global yachting map and supporting the ambitions of Vision 2030 to develop a world-class maritime and tourism sector.”
