Hurst Harbor Marina on Lake Travis in Lakeway, Texas, has installed new docks as water levels in the lake have risen. The marina worked with Meeco Sullivan to construct the docks.
“Although the marina had existing Atlantic Meeco docks, it was time for a modern upgrade that matched the long-term vision of the property. Each dock was built, floated and delivered one at a time so the marina would be fully ready when the lake returned,” writes Katie Whitmore from Meeco Sullivan.
Located on the south shore of Lake Travis in Hurst Creek Cove, Hurst Harbor offers 300 covered slips, 200 dry stack slips with valet service, trailer storage and a full-service marine centre.
Additional amenities include in-slip water, power and WiFi, boat lifts, private restrooms, a golf cart shuttle and a boat pump-out station. Wet slip sizes range from 26-90ft (eight to 27 metres) in length.
Hurst Harbor Marina has been serving the Austin waterfront community since the 1980s and has changed hands several times over the years. Its current owners took over in February 2022, and shortly after, water levels in the surrounding cove dropped, which left the area dry for approximately three years.
