HarborView Marina, a 278-slip marina located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbour, officially closed on 31 March 2025, following an announcement identifying safety concerns with the fixed pier structure. The closure marks the end of a waterfront facility in South Baltimore and opens the door to redevelopment as the property moves to public auction.

In a formal statement, HarborView Marina informs:
“It is with regret that we must inform you that we have no choice other than to close the marina effective as of 31 March 2025. We just received a report from our marine engineer advising us that this decision is required because of safety concerns about the current condition of the fixed pier. Thank you for being a part of the HarborView family. We deeply appreciate you and hope to see you on the water again one day.”
With operations ceased, the property will be offered at a foreclosure auction conducted by A.J. Billig Auctioneers.

Scheduled for 28 May 2025, the sale includes:
- 278 existing wet slips
- Additional 60-slip potential expansion
- 17,521 square-feet of condominium space
- Restaurant and office area
- FF&E (furnishings, fixtures & equipment)
- Onsite parking

The marina’s location at the heart of Baltimore’s revitalised waterfront makes it an opportunity for developers and marine investors. The auction will determine the future of the Inner Harbour site and whether it will continue to serve the maritime community under new stewardship or be reimagined for a different purpose.
