Electrified Marina, a Virginia-based electric-only boat dealership and service centre, has announced that The Green Boater has joined its Ambassador Program to promote wider understanding and use of electric boating across North America.
The ambassador programme was developed by Electrified Marina to connect boating advocates with trusted resources that promote electric propulsion. The initiative also focuses on increasing access to education, consultation and experience with electric boats.
Founded by lifelong boater Bruno Hoffman, The Green Boater has established itself as a voice for environmentally conscious boating. The platform shares insights into sustainable practices and the latest innovations in marine technology.
Hoffman stated: “The transition to electric power on the water is gaining momentum, and we are proud to formally partner with the industry experts making it happen. Erick and his team are leading the charge to bring electric boating into the North American market.”
Electrified Marina’s CEO Erick Pinzon said: “We recognise that The Green Boater provides the authentic voice and community trust necessary to move boaters towards an electric future. Bruno’s passion for sustainability is exactly what the Ambassador Program is built upon.”
Together, the two organisations plan to expand opportunities for boaters to learn about electric propulsion systems and experience them first-hand through sea trials.
