Pasito Blanco Marina in Gran Canaria, Spain, has renewed its Blue Flag status for 2026 under the international programme for beaches, marinas and boating facilities.

The Blue Flag distinction is awarded by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education and reviews standards including safety, environmental management, accessibility and services. The programme for marinas examines areas such as waste management, first aid and firefighting equipment, environmental information for users and measures to help protect the marine environment.
Located in San Bartolomé de Tirajana near Maspalomas and Meloneras, Pasito Blanco Marina has received the recognition for more than 30 years. The marina said the renewal reflects the work of marina staff, berth holders and vessel crews throughout the year, from marina operations and maintenance work to services for boaters and shipyard activity.
The marina highlighted its water management, waste sorting, energy efficiency and environmental awareness among staff and users as part of its daily operations.
Pasito Blanco Marina currently has 380 berths for vessels from six to 45 metres, an 8,100sqm dry dock for vessels up to 22 metres and 100 dry storage spaces for vessels up to seven metres. The marina also includes a travel lift, a fuel station and private parking.
