Started as a manufacturer of boat lifting equipment in 1996, Golden Boat Lifts in North Fort Myers reached three decades of operations this month. The company has expanded and now provides marine lifting systems used in marinas, yacht clubs, waterfront developments and commercial marine facilities across the United States and overseas.
The business began with a focus on building boat lift systems designed to support boaters and protect vessels in waterfront environments.
Over time, it developed a number of systems for different lifting needs, including the Sea-Drive, Float-A-Vator, Invisilift, Dock Stabilizer, Shallow-Pro hydraulic lift, post-based lifting structures such as 4-post, 6-post and 8-post configurations, and Sunshade canopy systems.
Bill Golden, founder and owner of the company, said: “Reaching 30 years in business is an incredible milestone and a testament to the trust our customers, dealers, employees and partners have placed in Golden Boat Lifts. We are grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey and proud of the reputation we’ve built for quality, innovation and reliability.”
As part of its anniversary activities, the company will dedicate the month of June to recognising employees, customers, dealers and partners who have contributed to its performance, while also reviewing milestones from its first three decades.

It’s about the memories made on the water, the relationships we’ve built and the people who have supported Golden throughout the years.
