A new marina facility has been completed on the Drava River in the village of Gola, near Koprivnica in northern Croatia. The site provides mooring space for recreational vessels and adds new river infrastructure in the Prekodravlje region.

The Municipality of Gola led the initiative in cooperation with Koprivnica-Križevci County and the Port Authority Osijek, with professional support from development agency PORA. Vodogradnja Varaždin handled the construction works. Marinetek Adriatic designed, manufactured and installed the floating marina system and its equipment.
Designed to accommodate around 40 vessels, the marina is arranged around a 129-metre floating dock formed by 11 pontoons of the M2412AC and M2409AC types. The installation includes 19 mooring fingers measuring six metres and eight metres. A 12-metre-long and 1.2-metre-wide gangway provides access between the shore and the pontoon.

The marina was built under the “Bolen’s Drava Route” Interpretation Centre project, which has a total value of €3.5 million ($4.1 million USD). €2.9 million (about $3.4 million) was secured through non-refundable funding.
The wider project also included the renovation and equipping of the parish house building in Gola, which will serve as an interpretation centre dedicated to natural heritage.
