Fuelbote, a company providing vessel-based dockside marine fuelling services, has expanded its operations into Texas and Georgia as it extends its fuel delivery service to new boating and marina areas.
The company operates stabilised barge-style fuelling vessels, with each carrying around 600 gallons of fuel and including safety systems, containment features and spill-response equipment for marine use.
Operations are managed through a proprietary software application that handles customer registration, scheduling, routing, dispatch, billing and fuel activity management.
According to John Neuens of Fuelbote, early feedback has focused on the onboarding process. He said users appreciate the “helpful avatar that guides boat owners through the sign-up process”.
Fuelbote has also secured fleet insurance through major marine insurers and introduced financing arrangements for partners and buyers involved in operating the vessels and related systems.
