As part of a wider redevelopment at Club de Mar Mallorca, a vacuum sewer system by Flovac has been installed to support the upgraded marina infrastructure catering to large superyachts. The system contributes to improved wastewater management in one of the Balearic Islands’ key nautical hubs.
Club de Mar Mallorca is located in Palma and offers over 500 moorings, with over 70 dedicated to larger vessels. The redevelopment includes a new dock designed for vessels up to 170-metres in length. Onshore services include a gas station, tender assistance, haul outs and dry dockings, electric car charging points, internet access and on-site security.
The vacuum sewer system introduced by Flovac supports environmental safeguards by helping to prevent marine pollution and eliminating the need for individual vessel pumps. The feature allows more coordinated waste management across the marina and helps reduce maintenance requirements.
The installation contributes to the facility’s goal of improving service while aiming enhancements with sustainability objectives. The vacuum system operates within the port’s layout without disrupting the visual environment or daily operations.
