Sanford Boat Works & Marina in Sanford, Florida, has been placed on the market, marking the first time the property has been offered for sale since marina operations began in 1924. The family-operated site is being marketed by SVN Marinas with an asking price of $6.9 million USD.

The offering centres on an active marina along the St. Johns River, close to the southern shoreline of Lake Monroe in Sanford. The marina sits within a sheltered deep-water basin and benefits from owned bottom lands.

The property extends across roughly 33 acres and includes 120 wet slips, 80 of which are covered, as well as 32 dry slips. Facilities include a travel lift, fuel dock, boat ramp, maintenance areas, a clubhouse with a swimming pool, and support buildings. Revenue comes from slip rentals, dry storage, fuel sales, vessel servicing, recreational vehicle sites and a restaurant operating under lease.

Beyond the marina property, the sale includes surplus upland areas, including an adjacent eight-acre parcel and other vacant land within the holding. These areas may allow future residential, mixed-use, recreational vehicle or expanded marine service uses, subject to planning approval.

The listing is being handled by David Kendall, CCIM, managing director; Josh Sheppard, advisor; and Carl W. Lentz IV, MBA, CCIM, managing director, of SVN Marinas.
