Bellingham Marine has reached the halfway point in its work at d’Albora Rushcutters Bay Marina on Sydney Harbour, as the site undergoes a refurbishment due for completion by the end of the year.

Located close to Sydney’s CBD, d’Albora Rushcutters Bay Marina accommodates local and international boaters across more than 100 wet berths for vessels up to 40 metres, catering to both long-term and casual stays, and serves as the base hub for d’Albora Yacht Brokers. Work at the marina has finished on S and D arms and is now underway on C arm, with A and B arms to follow and the fuel wharf expected to return to operation within the next week.

Bellingham Marine, which works with docks, floating platforms and wave attenuators, expects the project to be completed by the end of the year. “It’s exciting to be working on such an iconic project at one of Sydney’s premium marinas, delivering a refurbishment that will support the marina for years to come,” said Geoff Withycombe, NSW manager at Bellingham Marine.

“The upgrade goes well beyond new pontoons. Every berth is getting enhanced power and fresh water, improved fire-fighting capability and its own vessel pump-out. We have also upgraded the fuelling infrastructure, and the 24-hour fuel wharf will be back in service shortly. Staging the works arm by arm means our berth holders keep using the marina while all of that goes in,” said Peter Moxam, d’Albora NSW regional manager.
