D-Marin is reportedly close to acquiring Marina di Stabia in Castellammare di Stabia, southern Italy. The negotiations reopen the prospect of a sale of the Gulf of Naples facility.

The development was reported by StabiaNews, citing Metropolis, which said negotiations between D-Marin and Marina di Stabia have resumed after earlier talks were suspended due to the complexity of the transaction and planning-related issues.
Operating under a state concession valid until 2081, the marina covers six hectares, including 9,000sqm of indoor facilities, with the remaining area used for yard space and circulation.
Marina di Stabia is located near the Sorrento and Amalfi Peninsulas, with around 800 berths for vessels of up to 90 metres. The shipyard includes a 220-tonne travel lift and a 60-tonne lift, along with three slipways.
A 100-metre quay within the technical dock supports boats with drafts between four and six metres. The marina also operates a fuel station and provides facilities including a gymnasium, sports centre and a yacht club.
D-Marin operates a network of marinas across the Mediterranean and the Gulf region, with a total of 26 marinas in nine countries. In Italy, its portfolio includes Marina degli Aregai, Marina di San Lorenzo, Marina di Varazze, Porto Mirabello, Marina di Livorno and Marina Punta Faro.
Recently, it was reported that CVC Capital Partners, the Luxembourg-based private equity firm, is working with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. as it explores a potential sale of D-Marin.
