SVN Marinas has announced the sale of Cypress Cove Marina & Lodge, a sportfishing marina and lodging property in Venice, Louisiana. The property is located at the edge of the Mississippi River Delta on the Gulf of Mexico.
Venice is recognised as one of North America’s most productive offshore fishing areas, attracting anglers from across the country and overseas. The flow of fishing activity supports demand for marina facilities and waterfront accommodation in the area.
The marina provides fuelling, bait, ice and tackle services, along with on-site lodging for anglers and crews planning extended trips offshore. It also hosts tournaments including the Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic and the Louisiana Gulf Coast Billfish Classic, and serves as home to the New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club.
SVN | Gilmore Auction & Realty Co. served as the Louisiana broker of record. The transaction followed a confidential marketing process held under non-disclosure agreements.
The sale follows a recent transaction advised by the firm. Drifters Marina & Grill, a freshwater marina on Lake Tulloch in Copperopolis, California, was also sold with advisory support from SVN | Marinas in partnership with SVN | Vanguard.
