The Ministry of the Sea and the Water Cycle, through Ports de les Illes Balears (PortsIB), has published a tender for the management and operation of berths at Cala’n Bosch port in Ciutadella, Menorca.
The concession covers about 2.66 hectares of public port domain, including moorings, the slipway and the fuel station. It also includes responsibility for the maintenance of facilities and the provision of services at the port.
The concession will run for 20 years, with a starting annual fee of €475,000 (approximately $547,000 USD), excluding VAT. Bidders must also submit a provisional guarantee equal to two percent of the minimum planned investment for works and installations.
Managed through the Public Sector Procurement Platform, the tender gives bidders 45 working days to submit their proposals.
