The development will be located on a secluded, horseshoe-shaped island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, offering sea views and direct access to the city via a purpose-built bridge or by boat. A 40-berth marina will be included to serve the docking needs of residents, with selected mansions featuring private docks capable of accommodating vessels up to 25-metres in length.

The project will comprise 60 guest rooms, 30 villas and 90 mansions ranging in size from 1,650 to 2,500 square-metres. A yacht club with direct marina access and an exclusive membership programme will form part of the resort’s facilities.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, stated: “With Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi, we continue our jeweller of hospitality's magnificent journey of bringing Bvlgari’s distinctive elegance and craftsmanship to the world’s most remarkable destinations. This project will set a new milestone in Haute Hospitality, and I’m particularly happy to develop it with our long-standing Retail Partner and friend Mohamed Alabbar always striving for the highest standards.”

The resort will also include a Bvlgari spa, wellness and fitness areas, landscaped open spaces and a private beach. Dining options will span several signature restaurants, with a dedicated ballroom available for large-scale events.

Eagle Hills, the project’s development partner, is led by Mohamed Alabbar. Speaking of the collaboration, Alabbar said, “Abu Dhabi has always stood for vision and grace. This partnership with Bvlgari reaffirms our commitment to placing the Emirate at the epicentre of luxury living – where exceptional design, exclusivity, and Arabian soul converge.”

Architectural design will be led by Milan-based ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The resort is envisioned as a “living canvas”, with its structures drawing from local heritage and using materials such as glass and gold. The design aims to reflect the natural surroundings and cultural richness of the location.

Patricia Viel, CEO of the architectural firm, noted, “The project captures the best aspects of its location – secluded and immersed in nature and the sea – while remaining within easy reach of central Abu Dhabi.”

Landscape design will be delivered by Milanese studio LAND SRL, with a focus on nature-driven and culturally inspired transitions, from sculpted gardens to coastal forms.
