Taiga Motors Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of electric powersports vehicles, has entered into a strategic partnership with Aqua superPower, a global marine charging network provider, to accelerate the electrification of marine transportation.

Aqua superPower’s charging network currently spans 59 sites across North America and Europe. The partnership is intended to support the use of electric personal watercraft, such as those produced by Taiga, through expanded access to charging stations and tailored infrastructure solutions.
Taiga clients will benefit from charging options, including at-home installations, onboard yacht chargers and fleet setups. Aqua superPower’s chargers offer both AC and DC capabilities, with DC fast charging reaching up to 250kW. The system is designed to be compatible with Taiga’s vehicles and those from other manufacturers.

Sam Bruneau, CEO of Taiga Motors stated: “Scalable infrastructure is key to unlocking the full potential of electrification. With Aqua superPower’s expertise, we’re making it easy for individuals and fleets to go electric - especially in high-volume use cases where the sustainability impact is multiplied.”
The collaboration aims to reduce deployment costs and improve adoption by aligning Taiga’s demand for charging access with Aqua’s infrastructure rollout. This strategy addresses the common challenge in electrification where infrastructure growth and vehicle demand must progress together.
Karen Gill, COO of Aqua superPower said: “By combining demand and deployment, the companies overcome the two-sided market challenge inherent in electrification. Infrastructure must often lead the way - but by joining forces, Taiga and Aqua are accelerating both sides of the equation.”
