Hutchinson Island Marina reopened on 1 September 2025 after major reconstruction. The 75-slip facility in Stuart, Florida, forms part of the Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort, Golf & Marina and is now back in service with updated infrastructure.

The facility features slips from nine to 22 metres (30-72ft), with the capacity to host vessels up to 40 metres (130ft). Guests can refuel, use pump-out services and access amenities at the adjoining Marriott resort. These include dining, golf, pickleball courts, pools, beach access and accommodation, along with a new café and a bowling venue.

The marina sits on the Intracoastal Waterway, three miles north of the St. Lucie Inlet. Its position provides direct access to the Atlantic Ocean and avoids fixed bridges along the route. The location makes it suitable for vessels travelling between Florida and the Bahamas, as well as for boaters based on the Treasure Coast.

Kevin Dawson, General Manager at US Marina Group, which manages the site, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome guests back to Hutchinson Island Marina. This reopening not only restores an important destination for local and travelling boaters, but also reinforces our dedication to maintaining vibrant, resilient marina properties across the Southeast.”

US Marina Group, which oversees a portfolio of waterfront properties through subsidiaries such as Latitude Marinas, manages Hutchinson Island Marina. The group’s approach centres on consistent operations and services for boaters and industry partners.

The Marriott resort itself spans more than 200 acres between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, offering 274 rooms and suites, a golf course, dining venues, outdoor pools and event space.

The reopening of Hutchinson Island Marina restores an operational stop for recreational and long-distance boaters in the region, re-establishing its role along Florida’s east coast.
