The Beaufort Town Docks have been leased and managed by Haywood Weeks and his team since 1978. During this period, Weeks oversaw operations for boaters, residents and visitors to the waterfront.

Under the agreement, F3 Marina will receive 3% of total sales for management services, including slip rentals and fuel sales. The arrangement is expected to generate around $150,000 USD annually for the management. All remaining funds will be retained by the Town of Beaufort to support improvements along the waterfront and other community initiatives.

Matheson added that the company will focus on professional management and visitor hospitality. “It will include the addition of improved services and amenities over time as revenue allows. The Beaufort Town Docks is a gem for the community and we will maximise its potential.”
