D-Marin has presented its new Experience Centre at Port Camille Rayon, marking the beginning of a transformation for the marina in Vallauris Golfe-Juan. The centre provides an interactive insight into upcoming developments and highlights D-Marin’s commitment to strengthening the marina’s role within the local community.

Opened in the presence of Kevin Luciano, Mayor of Vallauris Golfe-Juan, the centre features digital displays, videos and a touchscreen, allowing visitors to explore the future plans in detail. Designed by Côte d’Azur architect Rudy Ricciotti, the multi-million-euro investment reflects D-Marin’s aim to involve residents from the outset and emphasise the marina’s cultural significance.
Corinne Reynaud, President of D-Marin France, stated: “This Experience Centre is a way to involve residents from the beginning and show that Camille Rayon’s transformation is rooted in the town’s culture, designed to foster local employment and support regional businesses.”

Originally constructed in 1989, Camille Rayon offers 841 berths, accommodating yachts from six to 75 metres in length. The planned works will increase capacity to 859 berths, focusing on boats under 12 metres. Additional upgrades include a dry dock for small boats, refurbished shipyard facilities and expanded green spaces.
The investment is expected to support wider improvements such as demineralisation of surfaces to create a more natural waterfront, a 260-space underground car park to improve access, and the renovation of the harbour master’s office and marina buildings. Sustainability measures include the installation of solar panels and smart pedestals to improve energy efficiency.
Mayor Kevin Luciano described the redevelopment: “Camille Rayon will become a true flagship of the Côte d’Azur, thanks to a shared vision between public and private partners. This is not just a project for the sea – it’s a project for the town, for residents and for future generations.”
In a July 2024 announcement, D-Marin officially entered the French marina market after winning the concession for Camille Rayon. D-Marin has also announced that the renowned architect Rudy Ricciotti, Bouygues Construction and Arcadis will complete the design for the office, and MB92 will manage the shipyard operations.
The full redevelopment is expected to be completed by 2029.
