Northwest Creek Marina in New Bern, North Carolina, has been acquired by Bowline Capital LLC. The deal represents the company’s first investment in North Carolina and follows earlier acquisitions in three other states.
Located along the Trent and Neuse Rivers, Northwest Creek Marina offers 275 wet slips that can accommodate vessels up to 65ft (20 metres). The property also includes a ship store, fuel services and a park.
Kyle Peterson and George Waidelich of Marina Brokerage Advisors represented the seller, Atlantic Recreation Group.
“We were attracted to the marina because New Bern, North Carolina, is a genuine waterfront town where boating is part of the local fabric,” said Ethan King, Founder & Managing Partner of Bowline Capital, LLC.
On plans for the marina, King told Marina World: “Alongside maintaining the community that has made the marina great, we intend to fully renovate and upgrade the docks.”
Northwest Creek Marina has been added to Bowline Marinas’ portfolio, which includes locations in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
