Ashley Marine, LLC has finalised the acquisition of L&M Marine, a full-service marine dealership based in Stapleton, Alabama, with a second location at Day Break Marina in Pensacola, Florida. The transaction closed on 24 October 2025, with David Kendall, CCIM, Senior Advisor at SVN Marinas, serving as the exclusive advisor to the seller.
L&M Marine’s Stapleton showroom and service centre has long served customers across Pensacola, Mobile and Gulf Shores. The dealership built its reputation in saltwater inshore and freshwater fishing markets and became a regional dealer for several leading outboard brands.
Located at Day Break Marina on Bayou Chico, the Pensacola dealership was established in 2023 as part of L&M Marine’s Gulf Coast expansion. The site extended operations into offshore and bay markets, broadening the company’s reach within the regional boating community.
Founded in 1985, L&M Marine grew from a small local marine shop into one of the Gulf Coast’s largest multi-line outboard dealerships.

Ashley Marine is a family-owned dealership group with multiple locations across Florida, Alabama and Georgia. The company offers pre-owned boats, including bay boats, skiffs, pontoons, offshore models and aluminium boats from brands such as Xpress, Carolina Skiff and Excel.
With the addition of L&M Marine’s operations, Ashley Marine now runs seven dealership locations across the Southeast, spanning from Panama City, Florida, to Mobile, Alabama.
