Cosmo Developments has launched THE WADI, a 6 billion AED ($1.63 billion USD) mixed-use residential project along Yas Canal on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The development will add housing, a marina and waterfront amenities to the area, with Reportage Group managing the project through development and long-term management.

A joint venture between Flag Holding Group and international real estate developer Reportage Group, Cosmo Developments has based THE WADI’s concept on the UAE’s natural and cultural heritage. The project will occupy approximately 14.07 hectares and include 3,950 residential units, from studios to apartments, with a hotel, restaurants, shops, parks, tennis clubs, gyms, spas and children’s areas planned across the development.

A landscaped valley will also run through the site with plants, water features and open pathways, while the waterfront will feature a yacht marina and paths for walking, running and cycling. The development will be located near Zayed International Airport, Ferrari World Yas Island and central Abu Dhabi.
