Suntex Marinas has introduced a new initiative, the Destination Marina Partner Program, designed to connect its customers with boating destinations outside its network. The programme launches with the newly opened Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Located on a 50-acre peninsula in southeast New Providence, the marina provides more than 300 dry-stack storage spaces for vessels up to 55ft (about 17 metres), built to category 5 hurricane standards, and 50 wet berths for vessels up to 150ft (46 metres).
The site includes floating docks, fuelling stations, pump-out services and shore power, along with an on-site customs and immigration office. Additional facilities include marine services, a ship store and security.
Plans for expansion include around 70 wet berths for vessels up to 220ft (67 metres), about 300 more dry-stack spaces, a boatyard, a hotel, waterfront villas, as well as dining and retail areas.
Under the programme, Suntex customers can use services at the Nassau location, including priority dockage and preferred pricing. They also have access to enclosed dry storage, inspection haul-outs and support with customs arrangements to help simplify international cruising.
Rich Carter, chief operating officer, Suntex Marinas stated: “We are proud to launch the Destination Marina Partner Program with Legendary Marina as our inaugural partner,” adding that the initiative reflects the company’s broader vision to “deliver meaningful value to our customers not only across our network, but at leading inland and coastal destinations around the world while supporting iconic markets like the Bahamas as premier global boating destinations.”
William Pizzorni, CEO and president of Legendary Marine Blue Water Cay, LTD, said the partnership creates “a new level of connection and service for Suntex customers”, referring to the services available at the marina.
Suntex Marinas operates more than 100 marina properties across the United States and said it plans to add more partner locations in both domestic and international markets.
