Stella Marinas partnered with Drake Real Estate Partners to purchase South River Marina and Turkey Point Marina & Yacht Club, two neighbouring properties on the South River in Edgewater, Maryland.

The combined properties offer more than 500 wet slips and dry racks, making the joint site one of the largest marina operations on the Chesapeake Bay. The location places boaters close to both the state capital and major metropolitan areas.
South River Marina sits in a protected cove five miles from Annapolis and about 30 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Turkey Point Marina, meanwhile, lies on Ramsey Lake, minutes from the open bay, with boaters able to reach downtown Annapolis within 20 minutes.
The facilities now provide boaters with services that include lift slip and dry rack storage for vessels up to 12 metres (40ft), winter dry storage, fuel and marine repair. A waterfront restaurant is also on site.

In addition, Stella Marinas announced two new partnerships at the Edgewater location. Five Star Hospitality will open the High Tide Grill, serving casual fare by the water. Rudy Marine, a dealer established in 1986, will sell Jeanneau outboard-powered cruisers and Bentley pontoon boats from the property.
Ryan Comisky, owner of Stella Marinas, stated: “We’re bringing together two exceptional properties to create a marina destination where boaters can dock, dine, refuel and relax – all in one place. Our current offerings, planned upgrades and location on the South River make us the perfect home port for boaters who value a convenient and enjoyable boating lifestyle.”
