Spain will host the inaugural Marinas de España Congress from 12-14 November 2025 in Puerto Sotogrande. The three-day event will bring together executives, managers and professionals from marinas, nautical clubs and ports to exchange ideas, analyse operational challenges and explore business opportunities.

Marinas de España

Delegates will arrive on Wednesday, 12 November, via transfers from Málaga’s María Zambrano Station and airport. The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail at Puerto Sotogrande, offering attendees an opportunity to network before the main sessions commence.

The programme is divided into two main sections. Thursday, 13 November, will focus on technical sessions led by working committees, examining operational and management challenges in marinas and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Friday, 14 November, will feature the institutional segment, with representatives from relevant ministries, Puertos del Estado and regional authorities providing regulatory and policy insights. The sessions will enable management teams to share experiences, discuss best practices and gain guidance on sector administration.

Marinas de España

Marinas de España, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Sporting and Tourist Ports, has represented and defended the interests of the country’s nautical sector since 1983. The federation promotes sustainable practices, professional management and the development of Spanish marinas.

The congress offers a platform for sector professionals to engage with peers, share expertise and discuss strategies for addressing current and future challenges in the industry.
