South River Marina in Edgewater, Maryland has been sold, marking a significant change in ownership for the Chesapeake Bay facility. The property is located 30 minutes from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, and five miles from Annapolis, in a protected cove with direct access to the bay.
Established in 1984, the marina offers approximately 166 wet slips, 143 lifts, 246 dry stack spaces, maintenance and office facilities, and two single-family homes. The marina has been gradually improved over the years, with the recent sale representing a generational transfer.
The transaction was facilitated by Marina Brokerage Advisors. The company noted that the South River Marina deal reflects a continued commitment to waterfront facilities that can meet the growing needs of the boating community.
