Rolec has introduced two new marina service pedestals, HEX and OCEAN, aimed at providing solutions for marinas, pontoons and private moorings. The products were presented at Metstrade 2025 in Amsterdam on 18 November 2025.

HEX and OCEAN are made from powder-coated or marine-grade stainless steel, with separate compartments for electrical, water and SOS services, LED lighting and optional branding vinyls. HEX includes an SOS emergency service option, while OCEAN has been updated for more demanding marina environments. Both comply with IP66 and IK10 standards, are UV-stabilised, are fire-resistant and meet electrical safety regulations.
The pedestals can be surface- or root-mounted. Both models support MID-compliant kWh metering and optional LoRaWAN wireless connectivity to allow marinas to monitor energy usage and manage billing.
Holly Brown, Group Commercial Director at Rolec, said: “The new HEX and OCEAN pedestals combine modular design, robust materials and advanced functionality to meet the demands of modern marinas.”
Pedestals are constructed from materials intended for extended use, with fully recyclable packaging. Production processes aim to limit emissions, and electrical testing along with annual site services are provided to maintain operational standards.
Brown added: “In introducing these additions, we provide marinas with the capability and longevity Rolec is known for. This reflects our ongoing dedication to maintaining a market-leading position through cost-efficient, sustainable solutions that reduce environmental impact while future-proofing infrastructure.”
