Premier Marinas will begin a £2 million (more than $2.6 million USD) project at Falmouth Marina on 1 December 2025. The project will include the replacement of all marina pontoons, improvements to electrical and lighting systems, dredging of the outer harbour and refurbishment of the marina reception.

The project will be completed in phased stages over four years to reduce disruption for berth holders. Pontoon specialists Walcon Marine will complete the installations, which include the use of Sureline equipment and additional technology to support future system upgrades.
Dredging of the outer harbour is scheduled in the winter months, and marina reception will also be refurbished to provide an updated environment for staff and visitors.
“This project represents a significant investment into the future of Falmouth Martina. It’s exciting news for our team and existing berth holders and I’m sure will attract new customers to our idyllic marina on the Fal Estuary,” said Mark Evans, Falmouth Marina Manager.
Premier Marinas acquired Falmouth Marina in 1998. Since then, the site has seen developments such as the construction of a boat lifting area, the incorporation of Port Falmouth Boatyard and the addition of pontoons and dry stack facilities.
In September 2025, Premier Marinas completed the acquisition of Boatfolk, which operates a portfolio of eleven additional UK locations.
