The Bresse et Saône Community of Communes (CCBS) has launched a tender to appoint a new operator for Pont-de-Vaux marina in eastern France. Under the five-year concession, the successful operator will manage and operate the marina, succeeding Scite Plaisance.

CCBS had previously appointed Scite Plaisance to operate the marina through a lease agreement signed on 4 August 2024, but the agreement ended after the concessionaire entered liquidation.
Under the new concession, management of the marina will cover its 225 moorings, lock, canal, harbour waters, adjacent land areas, harbour master’s office and nautical facilities.
The selected operator will also be responsible for the marina’s daily management, including fee collection and revenue from the service, site security, unrestricted access to the slipway, facility maintenance and insurance claims. Additional duties will include operating merchandise sales related to the service and organising tourism promotion for the concession area.
The concession will run for 60 months from 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2032, with a contract value estimated at €1.5 million ($1.7 million USD) excluding VAT. Operators interested in managing Pont-de-Vaux marina can submit tenders until 12 October 2026.
