A major digital systems upgrade is underway across Auckland’s key marina sites, with the second phase of the PacsoftNG marina management system scheduled for release between late June and early July 2025.

The update will bring a unified platform to Westhaven, Silo and Viaduct Harbour Marinas, replacing systems and modernising the way operations are managed across all three sites.
Westhaven Marina is situated near Auckland’s central business district. The marina is home to approximately 1,800 recreational boats and a range of marine services. Westhaven features a 45-berth charter base, a public boat ramp, a floating dock service and 100 metres of public-use pontoons.

Silo Marina and Viaduct Harbour Marina, both positioned along Auckland’s inner city waterfront, will also transition to the updated platform. Silo Marina is easily recognisable with its 37-metre concrete silos overlooking berths in the area. Viaduct Harbour Marina features 70 berths ranging from 15 to 60 metres, and 24-hour security monitoring.

The new system will introduce modern software designed to improve speed and functionality across all three sites. The system will also create a unified platform to reduce duplication and improve accuracy in customer data management.
Changes to billing include simplified statements and expanded payment options, supported by updated financial interfaces through systems, applications and products in data processing. Communication is expected to become faster through the integration of short message service capabilities, while enhanced audit tools aim to increase transparency and accountability.
