The signed documents were sent to the Fish and Boat Commission for review and signature by the appropriate officials within the Commission and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The authority has received a formal deed for the marina property. With the support of legal counsel, the board is currently conducting a final review of the deed and completing a title search for all parcels comprising the marina complex.

Despite the progress, the marina remains closed until the transaction is finalised. The authority has stated it is prepared to move forward as soon as a closing date is scheduled and will provide updates accordingly.

The North East Marina’s website currently offers applications for a range of services, including single and double boat slip seasonal rentals, outside storage, trailer parking and overnight parking.

On 5 July 2025, the authority announced plans to reduce dock slip rental fees for the current season, with the final rate to be determined during the upcoming July meeting. The public are invited to provide input on what they consider a fair adjustment.
